Biography  


Jeffrey M. Bradley

Jeff Bradley is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education. After teaching at Carbondale Community High School, Jeff entered Law School at SIU, where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor. After being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2001, Jeff gained employment as the juvenile prosecutor in Jefferson County Illinois. After a period in that position, Jeff became the traffic, misdemeanor, and domestic violence prosecutor in Jefferson County. 

 

From 2004 to 2008, Jeff served as the Felony Assistant State’s Attorney in Jefferson County, Illinois. In 2009, he was elected to the position of Jefferson County State's Attorney. In addition to his role as a prosecutor, Jeff is very active in working with outside organizations.


Jeff is a past member of the Family Violence Coordinating Council and the Jefferson County Truancy Review Board. Presently, Jeff is the Chair of the Jefferson County Juvenile Justice Council, a delegate to the Juvenile Justice Council for the Second Judicial Circuit, a Commissioner for the City of Mt. Vernon on the Minority Affairs and Human Relations Commission, a member of the Mission Possible Coalition, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Amy Schultz Child Advocacy Center.
