Jack Knuppel

Jack Knuppel of Petersburg was named Chief Labor Counsel in 1999. He supervises a staff of five contractual labor attorneys who represent about twenty counties each year in all forms of public sector labor relations. He previously served as a Staff Attorney in the Fourth District Office in Springfield. He handled over 135 criminal appeals in the Appellate Cpurt before switching to the Labor Unit in 1989. He began his career with the Agency as a Law Clerk in 1987. He revceived both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign.
