Gray H. Noll

Gray H. Noll is the State’s Attorney of Morgan County. He has served in that capacity since January 1st, 2016. Prior to moving to Morgan County, he served the people of Sangamon County as an Assistant State’s Attorney.

Altogether, Mr. Noll has over 17 years of prosecutorial experience. He has served in many different roles as a prosecutor. He has previously held positions including Chief of the Traffic and Misdemeanor Division, Chief of the Domestic Violence Division, and Chief of the Violent Crimes and Drug Division. He has been Lead Counsel on numerous jury trials ranging from petty traffic tickets to First Degree Murder charges.

Prior to becoming an Assistant State’s Attorney in Sangamon County, Mr. Noll attended Southern Illinois University School of Law. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois College. Between Illinois College and SIU, Mr. Noll was employed as a high school history teacher in the city of Chicago.

Mr. Noll currently resides in Jacksonville with his wife Lauren and their two sons.
