Summary:

The Coles County State’s Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant State’s Attorney. LOCATION: Charleston, Coles County, Illinois Fifth Judicial Circuit REQUIREMENTS: The applicant must be (1) a graduate of an accredited law school; (2) licensed to practice in the State of Illinois; (3) be a resident of Coles County or be willing to live no further than one hour driving time from the Coles County Courthouse. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage prosecution of cases from charging to post-conviction appeals. Traffic court call and assigned misdemeanors, mental health cases and ordinance violations.
