Court Increases Bail Amounts For Traffic and Conservation Cases
Effective September 15, 2010, Supreme Court Rules 526, 527, 528 and 530 will be modified to significaly increase the minimum bail amount for most traffic and conservation offenses, including speeding. Of particular significance, it raises the amount for simple speeding from $75 to $120; 20 mph over from $95 to $140; and 30 mph+ from $105 to $160.
