The Second Judicial District is comprised of 13 counties, all of which participated in the Appellate Prosecutor's program during FY07.

During FY07, the Second District Office filed 380 original briefs, 5 supplemental briefs, 11 reply briefs, 2 confessions of error, 10 petitions for rehearing, and 20 petitions for leave to appeal. In addition, 34 cases were dismissed/consolidated, 20 oral arguments were presented, and advice was rendered to State's Attorneys on 548 occasions.
Lawerence Bauer became Deputy Director of the Second District Office on June 7, 2007.
