Title: Assistant State's Attorney (x2 positions)

Summary:

Two immediate openings for an Assistant State’s Attorney position to work in Lincoln, Illinois. Applicants must be licensed to practice in Illinois. Job duties includes making charging decisions, working with law enforcement, conducting motion hearings, bench trial, and jury trials. Assistant State's Attorneys have the opportunity to work in all areas of criminal law, including misdemeanor, DUI, traffic, juvenile, and felony prosecutions. This full-time position also affords the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced prosecutors by helping on felony cases and trials. The position requires organization and time management skills as well as the ability to communicate well within the Office and with the public.
