Summary:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: The Effingham County State’s Attorney’s office is seeking a criminal prosecutor to perform direct prosecution in a variety of cases during daily court such as traffic offenses including misdemeanors of driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, speeding, and other misdemeanors and presentation of plea negotiations. Also responsible for juvenile cases such as JA & JD files. Jury trials and motion hearings when ready to assume those duties along with other duties as may be assigned. Assist with speaking with the public during open office hours.

Description:
