The Second Judicial District is comprised of 13 counties,
all of which participated in the Appellate Prosecutor's
program during FY10.

During FY10, the Second District Office received 461 new cases, filed 337 original briefs, 10 reply briefs, 4 supplemental briefs, 7 petitions for rehearing, 11 summary dispositions, 20 confessions of error, and 17 petitions for leave to appeal. In addition, 96 cases were dismissed/consolidated/transferred/other, 421 motions for extensions filed, 15 oral arguments were presented, and 501advice calls were rendered to State's Attorneys on 427 occasions.
