COMPLAINT

In the name and by the authority of the People of the State of Illinois, , hereinafter called the complainant, on oath charges that at or about the hour of .M on or about the day of 20 in said County and State, , hereinafter called the defendant, committed the offense of:

PUBLIC INDECENCY

*or intentionally or recklessly
**Acts which may constitute Public Indecency include:
1. An act of sexual penetration or sexual conduct as defined in Section 12-12 of this Code.
2. A lewd exposure of the body done with the intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of the person.

NOTE A: "Public Place" means any place where the conduct may reasonably be expected to be viewed by others. (720 ILCS 5/11-9(b))

NOTE B: Breast-feeding of infants is not an act of public indecency.

NOTE C: A person convicted of a third or subsequent violation of this offense is guilty of a Class 4 felony.
