Patrick Daly

Effective January 16, 2018, Patrick D. Daly became the Deputy Director of the Fifth District at the Illinois State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Patrick earned his B.A. degree at the University of Arizona, his J.D. at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and his LL.M. at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He was a trial prosecutor with the Jackson County State's Attorney's Office in Murphysboro from 1994 to 1998, and has been an attorney with the State's Attorney's Appellate Prosecutor's Office since May of 1998. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois College of Law, where he teaches trial advocacy. He lives in Carbondale.
